Problem with text editor

Hi,

I wanted to edit something in the text of my Spaghetti with Meat and Vegetables page, and the editor didn't show up as usual, with an option for html editing, etc. It just showed a page with <p> and </p> tags, and in order to make line breaks I had to use these tags, since there was no option of it recognizing the line breaks with Enter in a Word text.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem today?

It's not happening this end.  I'm on a PC running Firefox.

Try clearing your cache, then re-opening the page.  Is it working ok now?  If it isn't, what browser are you using?

Ha. That just started happening to me just as I was finishing up this new Wizz. I'm off to do some cleaning....

I just cleared my cache and the text editor is being weird again. I don't have the html page, but I don't have anything else either. I can't format my text and it just looks STRANGE.

forgot the box again...

We had a very brief server hick-up. Everything should be fine again. I'm writing on an article myself and had the same experience. A reload should do the trick, Lana.  

Nope. Still doing it. I just formatted with HTML and that seemed to work. I didn't have a lot of photos though. I'll try again tomorrow.

You did empty the cache, right?

I'm done now so won't be looking at it until tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know.

My computer gets shut down at night. Emptied the cache again just now. Text Editor is still not showing me the editing bar.

Everything works fine here, and no one else has written about any problems. I suspect it's something on your end. Have you tried other browsers?

Tried another browser. Same problem. I have to use HTML for everything.

I wish I could help you with this. Perhaps Simon has an idea. He'll be back later this week. You could write a detailed report on what happens and which remedies you've tried, and send him a PM.

OK. I'll do that. Meanwhile, it's a chance to brush up on my html..
