Is there a Wizzley article on what an RSS feed is, how I can't live without it, and how I put it in my articles? I'm wanting to make my pages better and was wondering if this would help.
Thanks!

I use the Wizzley RSS to add to my blogs. Those pull in articles from Wizzley that will show up on my blog. At Wizzley I add RSS feeds from Zazzle stores and my sometimes from my blogs. All you need to know is how to add the URL for the feed. Search here at Wizzley "rss" and you will find some articles that may help you. |

Tra-la-laaaaa! The whole article is about adding Twitter as a feed, but I do begin by saying why RSS is wonderful. <3 If it doesn't answer your questions, shout up and I'll elaborate on the specifics. My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!

Thanks everyone. And, thanks, Jo. I'll look at the article in a couple days when I'll be home and have time to study it. I'm leaving at waaay too early in the morning to go to Disney World and won't be back until waaay too late tomorrow night. If I have any questions I'll ask! |

These may help you: http://humagaia.hubpages.com/hub/What-Is-An-RSS-Feed-How-Does-An-RSS-Feed-Help-With-Website-Promotion http://humagaia.hubpages.com/hub/RSS-Submission-Prepare-to-Submit-RSS-Feeds http://humagaia.hubpages.com/hub/RSS-Submission-RSS-Feed-URL-Submit-Process A little out of date with regards to the Feed submission sites but otherwise relevant to your questions. Basically an RSS feed is what it says it is. RSS = Really Simple Syndication. It is the syndication bit that is relevant. Syndication is the process of telling the world about the existence of the article / articles that you have written (or anything else that has a URL that you wish to promote). RSS basically is the creation of a list of those items (presented in a specific way, so that people can pick out the item they wish to view and go there using the relevant URL in the list). On sites like Wizzley their RSS feed specific to your output, places a new list item in the most recent position in the list. If someone is following your RSS feed then they will be informed of the new post you have made, without you having to tell them it has been posted. Once you have placed an RSS feed in various RSS feed "search engines" you do not need to do it again - those search engines will syndicate your feed to all and sundry (those that subscribe to the search engine) for you. RSS feeds are your way of promoting what you have written, on an ongoing basis, without having to do it every time you write something new (but you do need to put in the effort to post the RSS feeds in appropriate places). There are many more ways you can utilise RSS feeds (and create bespoke ones for various reasons, not least of which is to utilise Twitterfeed - see http://wizzley.com/using-twitterfeed-to-update-twitter-facebook-linkedin-promote-your-writing-1/) - but that learning curve can be addressed once you get to grips with how to find the RSS feed you need, and where to place it for best results in your promotional activities. Hope this helps, rather than confuses! Https://chazfox.com/
