WWizzley's new spell checker is a disaster. It corrects my technical terms into prosaic and inaccurate alternatives. Please Wizzley trust your writers. We know what we are doing.

Yes, please do not change things. One of the best parts of reading from those in other countries is the words are not quite all the same as what we in the U. S. have corrupted English to be. I would wonder which version of English the checker is set for. would it change maths to math, or math to maths? I find reading the intended words enlightening of the differences in English. will grammar check be next and randomly insert "the" where articles are sparsely used in the language. It is good to read in the original version and be exposed to cultural differences.
I do appreciate that Wizzley is actively involved.

More trouble with the spell checker. I was writing a historical piece and wanted to write the word anglian, but the checker insisted on changing the word to anglican, which is historicaĺly anomalous by a thousand years. Will someone tell me how to switch off this nuisance? frankbeswick

The disaster of the spell checker has not been rectified. It converted o g h a m to Gotham. WHOEVER DESIGNED this programme was clearly unaware that there are writers whose subject matter is not limited to Marvel films. frankbeswick
