How To Get a job With a Criminal Record

The above article is one of the reasons that I'm so proud of Wizzley.  We seem to have a lot of experts in their field sharing their knowledge and experience.   Hollie has said in earlier articles (like the very excellent Inciting Class Conflict: Ideology or Social Experiment?  which was so evocative of the times which I lived through too) that she's worked in a prison   She's told me that she did advise prisoners.  She knows her stuff.

There are others too, like Sheri on child abuse etc, which really elevate our site up there.  It just struck me reading Hollie's latest how much that is the case.

I love being here, passively learning from the experts!

Let's not forget your massive catalogue of history articles! But I agree, especially with Hollie and Sheri's  articles, as they're really something you don't get to read about from an expert's point of view!

Awww!  Bless you. :)   I could have listed so many people.  I'm hoping that it's implicit anyway.  Like you with your computing, Robin with her RVs and so on.

Ah, thank you both very much, I'm going red now! I have to agree with you both about all the other authors here, sharing their knowledge which is of great depth. :)

totally, I'm so jealous of the founders because they see vurtually every article that comes through the site and they don't have to add thousands of fans of comb through thousands of emails to see em- :) so much greatness so little time to soak it all in!

Oh, Jerrico. Smile  We get an e-mail for every new article, every forum post, every republish, every support question ... not only from Wizzley but also from Pagewizz. Talk about "combing". My inbox is full in the morning, and it stays full for most of the day. What exactly are you jealous of?

Btw, I wonder when Hollie notices her EC.  Smile

LOL!

Yea, I forgot about the email.... I'm going to retract my jealousy and replace it with pity, I had to use some serious filter technology to get my box down to a manageable level. I guess I only meant the part of your job where you get to glance over all the topics (like reading a newspaper?), I do this with the article directory I moderate and although way too many entries come in for comfort (reading can give you a headache, did you know that haha), (and I don't get to look at pictures- its ALL text!)  I try to see the silver lining of being able to expose my brain to some intriguing facts I would otherwise not have thought or cared to look up! You ever think pumping that much data into your head consistently over years will turn you into a cyborg or something? Who'd of thought the next generation of evolution would be fostered by the treadmill data reading individuals of the information age! buahahaha

Again I say it... your a busy chap, and to maintain your optimism so well, is an accomplishment too :) Your patience is uncanny (*smiles*). Thanks for taking care of my mom, I'm going to motivate her to generate quite a few articles for that passive income in a few years :) ... is there anything I shouldn't teach her?

I'd say, leave her alone. I'm sure she's woman enough to crank out a few wizzles without your hovering over her every second.  Laughing

I don't hover, I inspire, ask her. Money Mouth

I'm popping by her house tomorrow morning to show her where all the things are, how to use the site, answer questions, and make her aware of the topics not allowed sections etc... it's going to be a wizzley party complete with rap music crazy clothing and inharmonious singing...

Jerrico - I am sure glad your mom is here with us. Your wizzley intro party sounds like fun. I'm not sure that at her age she really needs much info on not-allowed topics, but it would be fun to see you telling her about them.

Back to Jo's OP - thanks for the vote, Jo. And I agree that it is pretty phenomenal learning from everyone here. Love the personal perspectives on different aspects of life, whether in professional or not-professional areas.

I love Hollie's article that you linked here to. I put it on my fb for my colleagues to see.

Ah, thank you all! For your comments and for the EC Chef! I am so chuffed, that's my third EC so now I have my Rosette. I can't stop smiling! There's definitely something about Wizzley that brings out the best in people. Laughing

Congrats Hollie!  I have yet to read your new page, my computer is being a bad child and my mouse needed a spanking this morning!  So I couldn't do half of what I wanted to today.

I have learned more in my short time here at Wizzley from all of you than I have in many years time.  The writing is so wonderful at this site that I have to make myself stay away for fear of spending all day reading.

I look up to every one of you guys!
