Hubber here, looking for a similar website to expand into. I'm trying to diversify my income, so I figured another content-producing site would go well with my other 'jobs.' I tried Squidoo but something about the interface just bothers me to no end. I can't get enthusiastic about it. Wizzley, on the other hand, I like very much. After posting an exploratory article, I thought about it for a few days and I think I'll stick around. :) There's so much expanding to be done on my favorite topics- I feel like it'd be a waste not to!

Well, then - welcome to Wizzley, gofygure! Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

There are lots of hubbers here. I've got some Hubs as well and also realized how much I needed to diversify. The interface here is super easy and quite fast to work with. After a few months, I truly feel at home here. |

Welcome fellow Hubber! Yeah, Wizzley is a great interface. I have the same issues with Squidoo. (Be careful there are more Squidoo people then Hubbers I think active here! For now I write with one eye open xD) Although I only been here for a few days I already am starting to feel at home! ~thranax~ and this was all inspired by a little Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay...

G'Day and Welcome Gofygure. My first foray into this world of content creation was with Squidoo (i am all over the internet now). It does have I find an unusual and awkward to use interface. I go back often and get frustrated with it but still use Squidoo. Over time I found it is about the 'style or theme' of information that you create in tandem with the way the site works best. So for example the way I create hubs on the Hubpages website would most likely not work on Squidoo and vice versa. What ever other sites you use and find awkward or frustrating, ask around these parts, as I am sure you will find some long time users of many of these sites. |

I think that you are right Jase. I have learned that each site has their own quirks and nuances that work best for certain types of articles. For those of us who learned Squidoo first, Hubpages felt awkward. But once I got used to it, I found it easy. I have to say that Wizzley has been a joy for me to use. Same for me as well, each site has its own unqiue way in operation. I actually find this rather helpful. It shows that certain specific types of articles are required to maximize earnings for those sites and each site has differing requirements and differing forms of income generation. But I have a passion for writing articles themselves, and like most people post Panda, am also happy that I can get my work out to as many sites as possible. You excellent thing about these places is you guys, your help, your support and your insight and a willingness to lend a hand. Not to many collaborative sites can boast about that benefit. |
