I'm saying hello too. I'm getting used to this site now, like one of the other ladies whose posts I've just read, I had trouble getting my Twitter details (thank you JoHarrington!) and still haven't worked out my signature and Wizzography... I'm just going to put something in there and see what happens.

Hiya Susan! What are you looking to do with your signature? I'd be happy to talk you through it. As for the Wizzography, just write it! Anything goes, and you can always edit it later. My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!

Hi Jo Thank you for your offer of help. Not really sure what I'm hoping to do with my signature... I've taken the advice from your book to look to see what other people write, but I'm still not quite sure which bit is from where. Too many years of eschewing manuals, methinks. As for my Wizzography, I'm having trouble getting it to let me write anything. |

Hi Susan, Welcome to Wizzley! The forum is a great place for help. I know when I've asked a question, someone has come into answer it no matter how daft it sounds ;) |

Susan, I see you already have The Ladies Who Can on your side, so I'll stick to saying hi (again) and carry on reading the things I've missed since going back to work a month ago. Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.

Ah! So I must have good taste in my reading material in that case! Going back to work... Always hard unless it's writing. Keep in touch. Take care. |

Administration AND writing. Writing work policies and procedures and then administrating them through the labyrinthine system to get them on the intranet and into the audit I administer. Also keeping tabs on training and recruitment for the department. Then writing some more when I get home for a growing number of clients. Keeps the bills paid, for sure. And yes, you do have good taste. Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.

I can empathise with that. I work full-time too and spend about 11 1/2 hours out of my house every day. Hey, it pays the bills until I can make a full-time living from writing! Take care. |
