Hello guys and girls! :)
I joined this site after finding that several other HP writers have joined it as well. I'm looking to post some of my lower performance articles over here to see how they perform. Of course, first they have to uncache from Google or the duplicate content detector on this site will bite me. :P

Welcome aboard Winterfate, just a note, if your articles don't perform right away here don't take that as any indication that they won't- this site is merely a year old and growing, but new sites take some time to season and build inter/external-connective networking, raising in the serps takes time both for a site collective and individual articles. It could take a year for a page to perform, I had one page that started out looking like a rock in the ocean, but about a year after I published it (and did no promotion, nothing, I almost forgot about it actually) it started to gain traction based solely on the niche being in demand, that article over the next 3 years generated almost 2 million unique impressions and earned me a great deal of money consistently.... Sometimes it's not where you put it but what the topic is and if it's trending- things that trend non stop still may take time to ride up out of the ground and grow into a tree (backlinks/branches, traffic/rain or water/nourishment, and so on)... I just don't want you to base weather or not your articles will perform here vs hubpages on a few months or even a years time- patience is truly a vurtue in this business... I believe this site will supercede hubpages within the next 2-3 years when they gain traction (more authors, more articles, aged domain/ranking evolution, etc...). If it didn't perform on hubpages it may not perform here, but it may not be because it's not built right or is on the wrong site, but rather that it just needs to season and gain attention, comments, backlinks, etc... |

On the other hand - Terri Rexson joined us at the very beginning and created a nice income within the first few months. It all depends. Welcome to Wizzley, Winterfate! Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

was she a complete newbie to the realm or an experienced marketer/author on other 2.0 properties/own sites before? That actually makes a huge difference. When I started on HP I was a complete newbie to the realm but as my experience grew I built my articles better and optomized them more effectively.... moving here to wizzley I'm starting fresh but until I hit the right niches that readers like and share, it could be a while, or tomorrow I could see success, or maybe at 100 articles... But, I know what your saying chef, there are some people who just have a knack for and are fast learners, dedicated (have a lot of time on their hands while others don't), and can earn immediately... Like Terri :) who at the time she started here was working full time at home on this... and she also promotes backlinks to her articles through her other sites/properties... something a typical newbie won't think to do or want to do (because they dont' fully get it yet) Although some people just get lucky and land the right articles, build monetization right, and all that jazz, this is not typical, not at all. My message wasn't that it's never possible to generate income fast or right away, even on a site as new as wizzley, however it puts out the wrong message to people if they believe in something that isn't likely (but is possible) to happen and often terminates in them quitting because they feel like THEY failed, when in fact our fate is determined by the visitors and their actions (and how the articles are built, the topics/niches etc) ... Especially in a world where most newbie's tend to first land on the wrong sites/courses that lie to them etc... and get preached the get rich quick concept and the mindset follows them (that every site they try to earn from shold make money or they are doing something wrong). What your saying is true here and in the offline world of business and workforce- some people can start a job and become manager in 6 months (I did this at walmart actually) but this is often base on serendipity (chance encounters, luck), and those same people could be successful like that in one field and not another... I'd rather tell people what the MAJORITY of people experience as not to break a fragile mindset and disappointing them if they aren't the lucky 1%... Terri if I remember correctly, had a past on Squidoo and a few other sites so she wasn't exactly a newbie to the realm, but none the less even with experience behind you entering a site as new as this and making money in the first few month is quite a cool thing. I hope my point here makes sense. I'm saying your right, but that this isn't typical enough to raise someones hopes on- it often backfires to preach about possibilities like this, at least to someone very new... Jerrico

Welcome Winterfate, I'm another hubber and I'd say Wizzley is better - Any Day! It's no where near as much traffic I get on HP, but Just as Jerrico says, I know it's going to do better one day soon. Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

Tip: type "Wizzley" into the search box at the top of a Wizzley page and click 'search' - you will find lots of Wizzleys about the functions here on Wizzley, and how to use them. If you have any questions you have found the right place to ask them. If the staff don't answer (which they do as soon as they see the question) then the members will. There is no site I know of that is so determined to listen to their members to make things as good as possible for us. They listen, they answer, they do - sweet! Use all the opportunities you have been given here to earn an income - Zazzle, Viglink (which opens the possibility of earning from almost any affiliate program / merchant), extra Amazon functions, Chitika, as well as Adsense, and your own affiliate links. This is a site for writers, created and run by writers. No other site gives you so many opportunities to earn. And there is no HP bull! Here you have found a thoroughly professional, welcoming, proactive, listening, friendly, helping community of staff & members, who want you to have a pleasant, quality experience whilst enabling you to earn to the full capacity of your capabilities. This will be the place to be, if it is not already! Welcome & enjoy. Https://chazfox.com/
