I agree as well, crowding sourcing is a powerful tool especially for many authors whom use this site. Its about collaboration, support, asking questions, learning new skills and being supported by a group of like minded people who understand your position and what you do on the internet.

Yet it does still come down to our own efforts for the final result.

I watched the video, and liked the wrap up. It sounds like we should be writing for customer, audience happiness. People stay longer on the page, share it more, etc.
