In general can be said, our quality guidelines are designed to cover our backs (and yours) as a business, especially in extreme cases of TOS violations, and, as AJ mentioned, after so-called "acts of God".

I know that I'm two years late on this, but what possible 'Acts of God' could happen as a result of extreme TOS violations.

I'm assuming that this is going to be nowhere near as interesting as my imagination is supplying. :D

Now I have an even better mental image of how Simon and Hans react to those.  I see them sprouting big, white beards and waving staffs in the general vicinity of an oncoming apocalypse, ready to defend the servers with whatever it takes.

I'm glad you posted this.  Some writing sites are so vague about violations and you could spend a lot of time writing an article and then having it rejected.
