Backlinks for Wizzley Articles

Remember that Lensroll.com allows listing of Wizzley articles (along with Hubpages and Squidoo). Two per day maximum.

Also I list many articles and blog posts at Blog Interact. The limit there is two per day as well. (Actually it's more complicated than that, but if you stick with two per day, you're good. TOS) Although they have categories for any conceivable topic, most of the posts are related to technology, blogging, writing, and the like. However, I have added other links and they have been accepted warmly. The owner there Bryan Hollis is a nice guy, so don't flood him with junk, okay?

Where else do you get backlinks? I tried to get started at Redgage AGAIN. I cannot figure out that site. I was going to invest in learning it, and guess what? They are under maintenance until Tuesday night. I think Redgage and I just don't click.

I, too, can't understand why they haven't simplified, clarified, and speedyfied Redgage, yet. It's not user-friendly, at all.

Backlinks are important, but let's not forget the ever-increasing social scene. Those are very important backlinks, too. Twitter, facebook and....Google Plus/Google Pages! Everyone should have their accounts there and use something like hootsuite.com for easy posting.

I've started using Amplify because you can set it up to feed out to several different sites, like Twitter, FB and Posterous.

Another useful one is Twaitter, where you can arrange tweets to Twitter at set times.

I gave up on Redgage, because it is just too slow.

I rarely use lensroll because of the two a day limit - I often write more than two articles in a day, and I prefer use create links like that in batches.

I do use amplify. Redgage occassionally, but yeah, it's annoyingly slow. I like Best Reviewer.

Mostly if I want a backlink I go and write related content somewhere else, or add a link to a relevant article that I've already written. I don't mean an article that just exists to provide a backlink, I mean an article that has its own purpose and also acts as a backlink. That's much more interesting that churning out backlinks.

I agree! Listing links is not exciting at all.

Getting links the way I usually do: by hitting up other content sites like Best-Reviewer and SheToldMe (though they went premium?!), Xomba, Blogger, Wordpress.com, RSS directories (if I can figure out the RSS feed here! It's busted...won't validate)...hm.

Lots o' places. :)

Went to look at blog interact but it seems to be down? I can't even load the cache version of it.

As for backlinks I try to blog as much as possible. I also write on some stamp collecting boards for backlinks to my philately related pages.
