Hiya,
I have a couple of category queries. The first is Death and Mourning. Should it really be in 'Aging'? You can die at any age and that placement seems a little undignified to me.
The second is in Health Care Reform. We appear to have two identically named sub-categories. One is in Social Issues and the other in Public Health and Safety. Is there much of a distinction? If not, should they be amalgamated?
yours
Jo

I agree with you Jo. I do volunteer work for a website called findagrave.com. I take pictures of headstones for relatives that live in other areas of the world. I've discovered that plenty of young people die. I wouldn't be surprised if more young than old die at any given time.

I started to re-configure these categories when I got a warning that hundreds of connected items will be deleted.
I'll have to consult with Simon on that.

We've made the following changes:
Culture & Society > Death & Dying > Mourning
consolidate "Health Care Reform" from "Social Issues" to "Health & Wellness" --> "Public Health & Safety"

Win! That sounds good to me. :) Thank you.
Did you move the articles over or do you need me to shift mine? I have one in both, hence noticing. :)

Anne already took care of your articles for you. Double-check, would you?

I've found another one. In Legendary Creatures, there are the options for both Bigfoot and Sasquatch.
There are four articles in Bigfoot, but nothing in Sasquatch yet.
As they are alternative names for the same creature, I think the sub-categories could be usefully combined. Perhaps as 'Sasquatch and Bigfoot' or the other way around. I'd say, 'Sasquatch, Bigfoot and Other Hairy Men', but that might be a bit long.
The Yeti/Abominable Snowman also fits into this category. There's no sub-category for that anyway though!

Is there anything in particular that you need, Jo?
Unless necessary, we'd rather not mess with the categories anymore.

Nothing I actually need. Just an old archivist mindset, hence forever messing with the categorization. :p
