Cast iron cookware is supposedly making a huge comeback.

I love Love LOVE cast iron, it's all I cook with. Comeback more like catch up... ta he, it's the best hands down.  I have skillets, pots, pans, griddles, muffin tins, cup cake tins, roasters and on and on my list of cast iron goes. It's the healthiest cookware bar none IMHO.

For witchy cooking I recommend teflon. Scraping off all that sticky hair at the bottom can be a pain in the neck.

However, a pineapple-based detergent should do the trick, too.

You lot are silly!   Santa is MAGIC!  He can lift anything!

Except Achim, who is evil rather than silly.   *recoils in horror from pineapple detergent*

It's not the lifting that's the problem, it's dropping the darn things from the sleigh from a great height. That foolish stowaway elf that was so clumsy!

I have ceramic pans and I love them, although, I couldn't give a cast iron guarantee that you would, too.

of course, santa just buys from Amazon so he has it drop shipped, nothing to carry- you didn't think the old man was still using that antiquated sleigh and those reindeer did you? They outlawed sweatshop sleigh riding years ago- said the reindeer were cognitive beings, specially that rudolph one, and it was considered slavery- specially when he tried to carry all that cast iron in the back...

Apparently Santa's magic bill ran over, the power company has been after him for years and the IRS is chasing him too, he's been on crowdsourcing sites trying to generate money to ship presents this year, under the code name 'Elves kithchen" he's threatening to attach parents wages to the plight but most Americans have guns sitting next to their paychecks so good luck with that one... although he has a technology that can shrink anything down by removing all the air in it one of the elves stole it and it went off in his pocket- they haven't been able to find the elf or the device...

My best cast iron skillet is unusable right now because I don't know how to remove the rust and re-season it.  Every time I try, it just gets sticky. Anyone got a Wizzle that will help me with that?
