I tried to upload a photo without realizing I hadn't converted it from a tif format and received this warning: Das Dateiformat "tif" wird nicht unterstützt. I can scrape together enough German to get what it's saying (something like "the data format TIF is not understood," ja?), but you might want to change it anyway.

Ja, Achtung!

The literal meaning would be "The .tif file format is not supported", but your interpretation works, too.
