Getting Your Work De-Indexed Faster

I know that you're not meant to use the de-indexing request tool through Google too much.

Just curious if anyone knows of other ways of getting content de-indexed fast.

For instance, if you pinged your main account page, would the SEs be more likely to crawl your content and de-index any that had been removed? Hmmmm....
