More Background Colors

I have a suggestion !!!

I would love to see more Background Colors and Themes. Maybe some brighter colors and seasonal backgrounds.

Sorry to disagree.  One of the things I like about this site is the simplicity, and fast load time.  I would say if that is what you want, you can write on Squidoo that has all of that and very slow load times (although better than it was).

Nice idea, PA....BUT! - these things can cause a site to take forever to load. A fast loading speed is crucial, these days! 

Yep I'm with lakeeriartists and chefkeem. Speed and load times are really important. We've got a lot here to work with already. I love love the simple and clean layout.

Background colors don't add that much load; it's the fancy fonts and textures we need to watch. Most of our textures are tiny and can really spiffy up a page, but If you're very concerned about your page load time, I'd say skip the fonts.

If you know some nice background textures, let us know: We gladly take a look :)

I would be happy with just some new colors

If colours aren't really an issue then some nice fresh spring or pastel Easter colours would be great.

I was thinking that a mini hearts texture would have been cool for valentines too. The textures are a really fab addition and you can get some great looks just by playing around with those and the colours. I love having that option.

I sure like the simplicity too.  The best looking sites on the Internet are those that are basic.  I want my content to be the main attraction.  I like something with a clean professional look like Wizzley.

I had noticed that the fonts load slowly, so I've stopped changing the fonts. But the colors and patterns seem quick. Love 'em. A subtle way to personalize your page.
