Roboform/Logging Into Wizzley

Hey guys/gals, I've had an issue logging into Wizzley since the beginning because they use a pop up window as the log in screen that my Roboform (password automation program) can't seem to see. My workaround was always to go through the tedious steps of opening my passcard copy pasting my log in username (easy) and password (not so easy to manually type in as it's a long convoluted pw generated by RF)... and checking keep me logged in for 48 hours (or something like that)...

Today I realized they have a page that Roboform can find and that works perfectly- so if you had any issues like this with your Roboform logging you in, just set the url to the login page to:

http://www.wizzley.com/accounts/login/

Frustration averted :)

Have a great day everyone!

Jerrico, Wizzley has a permanent log in, I never had to log in after I did it the first time. The 48 hour thing is on HP

yea but if you delete your cookies every 2 days it erases the log-in. At least that's been my experience, I believe log-ins are recorded/encrypted in the cookie (which may be set to never expire) so removing that will in effect cancel the log-in automation. Did you know that every time you move around in, change pages, click a link, etc... your actually (using the cookie so it's seamless to the user) logging in over and over and over again?

When I clear cookies my log-in resets so I'm thinking that's it. I clear cookies because often cookies are corrupted by other sites trying to use or write to them or just because it's a Microsoft product (*grin*).... None the less Roboform doesn't read popups unless they are the ones build by windows/mac i.e. standardized, the ones sites use have different handles so until they can find every sites set up it won't work (many known sites have been added into the code so you get the roboform bar appearing below the window (see this in action in one of my videos I forget which but I loaded a window and it was there)... Thanks for the heads up, now I know the cookies are set to not expire... :)

You do it that often!! I get irritated by the log ins to all the sites. So, I just do it once a month or whenever I feel it's been a while.

Yea I do, in working help desk level II at Earthlink several years ago, I learned a few things that really stuck-

1. 95% of all computer related problems from freezing up to acting up can be fixed by simply rebooting the computer or cycling the modem (DSL/Cable)

2. 95% of browser issues can be fixed by clearing cookies and wiping the internet cache (and lowering the threshold of how much is cached in the first place

So when I run into anything these are the two things I do first- and you know what? Most of the time, it fixes it. I work at a writer mill managing writers and they are always chiming in about issues that can be fixed with these two things, most of the time it fixes the problem.
