For those of you who use Share-a-sale as affiliate partner...

CrazyForBargains.com (a Share-a-sale vendor) has been my best money maker so far.

Just sayin'...   Wink

I haven't been as lucky.
I've been an affiliate for them (CFB) since 2008 and haven't sold a thing.

Thankfully, I have sold for 23 other stores in ShareaSale.

I'm signed up for about 20-ish programs on shareasale. Two make me regular sales. This month I made sales at a total of 5 programs. Finding something that works for you is hard.

So I'm very glad with this tip. I noticed at least one product that fits one of my lenses perfectly ;)

Might just stay around Wizzley for tips like this ;)

Interesting. I never heard of Share-a-sale or have any idea of what they do.

Vikki... ShareaSale is an affiliate marketing network, like Commission Junction, LinkShare, PepperJam, etc.

I do the best with CJ.

I work with hundreds of merchants and find that it's not the network that's important, but the individual merchant. But ultimately I've found any merchant will convert if you can drive enough targeted traffic to them.

Oh yes, individual merchants are what's important.

For what I'm interested in promoting, CJ seems to attract the best stores. I have 150+ stores over many different networks though.

Unfortunately though - unless you do find the right store, and make regular sales, CJ will kick you out. They kicked me out, which stopped me from signing up with a (for me) minor store just last week.

This is true. It's the reason I waited so long to join CJ.

When my best selling merchant on SAS switched to CJ I decided to finally give it a try.

It happened to me twice before I gained any traction in their network. I called them and they were nice enough to reinstate my account so I wouldn't have to rebuild all the links out there.

Since then I monitor longer periods of inactivity and, if need be, I make a small purchase myself. This is allowed unless the merchant specifically prohibits self-referrals (most don't but be sure to read their terms first). With so many merchants and products it's not hard to find something you can use. It sure beats getting kicked out.

Interesting.  Didn't know that.  Never been kicked out.
