Statistics page by month, not all time?

Just wondering if the statistics page could possibly show by month or something similar?

Currently I have a huge spike at the start due to a viral page, which means that viewing the page really doesn't give me a general indication of my best days/how I'm doing overall. I have to physically mouse over each dot point to see views amount. Here is a SS to give you an idea of what I mean:

Yes, I use Analytics, but the Statistics page is a quick and easy way to quickly view average progress and views.

I'm not really sure how to answer, Susannah. We'll have to wait until Simon gets back.

it would be nice to have a more detailed analytics page, but it's really a huge and time consuming task on its own.

And if I look on our steadily growing todo list ... well, that's why we introduced Google Analytics ... and because it's just hard to beat.
