Fun and Funny Mom Mugs, Mother's Day Gifts Under $25

Fun and/or humorous custom mugs (which you can personalize further) that would make nice gifts for Mother's Day.

I was on Zazzle today and they were showcasing a funny mom mug. I decided to take a look at Zazzle's offer under that category. I didn't find any big surprises ("Best Mom Ever" / "I'm a mom. What your superpower?" and so on), but I think even these old messages can be okay in a good way when presented as a gift. I mean, I bet any mom would love yet another "Best Mom Ever" mug over boring plain solid-color (or white) mugs. Also, remember that you can personalize these custom mugs further by adding a photo, your name, the name of your mother, etc.

I'm always amazed at how mothers do it, and by it I mean everything: being there in the evening after long hours at work when the kid or kids need her, taking the kid to all sorts of activities, looking everywhere for gifts for other kids' birthdays, staying up all night when a kid is sick, talking long hours with her child when he/she is older and wants to share things, cooking all those healthy meals all the time, and so on. Yes, that to me is a superpower.

I'm retired. But I work part-time spoiling my grandkids!

Once a mother, always a mother. When she's done raising her own kids, she's ready to help out raising the grandkids. True, I've heard of mothers who weren't that eager, but the vast majority are. Which is quite amazing. Also amazing is how much they remember from when their own kids were babies. I love it when friends who become new moms allow their mothers to pass the baton in ways big or small, even when they want to raise their children differently.

This one was among the featured products in the Funny Mom Mugs category on Zazzle. I can see the appeal, especially as wine can make you feel quite good after only half a glass.

Speaking of coffee, I made a mug for those frazzled mornings many a mom experience. It's one of those "you may not talk to me yet" mugs; it reads "Sleep Drinking. Monosyllabic Sleep Talking. Just a minute! Here, I'll do it. I love you too, honey."

If you argue a lot with your mother, you can lighten up the atmosphere a bit with a humorous mug once you realize that you won't be able to change her and that there's fun, too, in your head-to-head exchanges. Alternatively, you could give her a "Listen to your mother" mug. I was curious about the image and the statement, and learned that there actually is a "Listen to your mother" show. Well, if she likes it, then she'll like this mug. P.S. Apparently the show is actually "a national series of live readings by local writers in celebration of Mother's Day." It was created by blogger Ann Imig.

I think mothers sometimes get less gifts than our friends do. It's wonderful to have a Mother's Day.

Yes, I noticed and enjoyed that background, too!
I actually think one could make a good number of thoughtful gifts using this customizable mugs. I can see, for instance, a mug with a mother's favorite bits of poetry. In fact, I'm thinking of making a mug like this myself for poetry lovers. I have seen mugs with Shakespeare quotes and liked the idea.
