Muppet shirts are ideal gifts for those who grew up in the 80s watching these colorful and daft characters. The muppets continue to appear in movies so that these t-shirts are also popular with younger people who did not see them on the original muppet show.

It's time to play the music. It's time to light the lights. It's time to meet the muppets on the Muppet Shirt tonight.
The Muppets appeared in the Muppet show, from 1976 to 1981, although similar puppets appeared in Sesame Street both before and since. The Muppet show was a based around a theatre in which the Muppets performed a weekly variety show alongside a human guest.
As a child I loved the Muppet show for the silly puppets and their zany antics, but it seemed like my parents understood most of the jokes better than I did. My favourite characters were Fozzie Bear, Lew Zealand the fish thrower and Beaker the lab assisstant who invariably got blown up or burnt in some silly experiment.
The Muppets have also appeared in eight movies alongside well-known actors, often in reproductions of old movies and stories.

Fozzie Bear was just about my favourite character from the Muppets when I was young. My mother still has a very embarrassing photgraph of me doing a Fozzie Bear impression in the garden when I was about six years old!
The first of these shirts is a nice one for ladies, with a smart motif of Fozzie Bear and the caption, "Muppets" underneath on an understated light brown background with dark "sleeves".
The second of these Fozzie t-shirts I would have loved when I was a child as the wearer provides the head for a Fozzie body about to slip on a banana skin, one of his favourite jokes; featured on a bright yellow background this is a muppet shirt that young kids will really love.
