Watches are always a great gift idea. Most people will already have one of course, but there's no harm in having two (or three, or four...).
You can wear different watches in different settings and with different outfits - so there's no danger of a watch being a useless or unwanted gift, as long as you choose one to suit the recipient's taste of course.
Some people like big, chunky watches with umpteen dials and protruding buttons all over the place. Others, like me for example, prefer super slim, lightweight watches that won't catch on your sleeve and don't weigh a ton.
It's very much a matter of personal taste - but if you're shopping for someone who likes slim, stylish watches, then you absolutely have to cast your eye over the Skagen watch collection.
Skagen watches have clean, crisp and contemporary styling and are super slim. They look great - and they don't cost a fortune either. You could very easily have a collection of these (in fact, thanks to my lovely and generous wife, I already do).
They are also very comfortable to wear - thanks to a fully adjustable, super flexible mesh strap and their lightweight construction.
So, if slim watches are your thing, or if your gift shopping for someone who likes a slim, stylish watch, check out the Skagen range below:

The Skagen watch line appeals to me as an attractive gift.
What needs to be done -- and how often -- to keep the band and the face clean?
These are really classy watches and as you already mentioned, affordable as well. It is also interesting to observe how important became titanium. Stainless steel and similar alloys are becoming more and more popular. They are durable and look even better than silver. The absence of a price tag is another bonus!
