Whether you are visiting friends and family in Cleveland, Ohio or are just coming to Cleveland for fun, there are a lot of great places to visit in this northeast Ohio city.

Cleveland, Ohio is located on the shore of Lake Erie. Lake Erie is a very big influence on both Cleveland the city, and its people. The entire northern boundary of Cleveland is Lake Erie, and there are numerous beaches both in Cleveland proper, and the suburbs east and west of the city.

Cleveland is a midwestern city, full of friendly easy going people. It is one of the friendliest people that I have ever visited. Cleveland is a city full of wonderful restaurants, interesting ethnic pockets of the city, and a rich history. It is the northernmost city in Ohio, only a few hours away from Detroit, Michigan, and PIttsburgh Pennsylvania.

Cleveland boasts one of the world's best medical systems in Cleveland Clinic, and one of the county's best art museums, the Cleveland Museum of Art, as well as several excellent universities.

Cleveland Hotels, Attractions

If you are looking for information on Cleveland hotels and attractions, the best place to start is Cleveland OH Visitor.  Cleveland OH Visitor has links to all of the best places to stay in Cleveland, and the visitor information for some of the biggest attractions in Cleveland, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and nearby Canton's Football Hall of Fame. City Visitor also lists many hotel/attraction packages that you won't find on other sites.

There are also links to Cleveland shopping inside the city and in the eastern and western suburbs, so that you can find places to shop, and dine anywhere in Cleveland.

Cleveland Sports

No matter what time of year you are in Cleveland, there are sports going on both professional and amateur.  Clevelanders are avid sports fans, and flock to games for the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Cavaliers.  All three stadiums are located in the downtown area of Cleveland, and are within walking distance of each other.

Cleveland Art

Cleveland, Ohio is full of local art. There are art shows all over the city during the spring, summer, and fall, and galleries and museums that are open year round. If you are looking to spend a day visiting galleries, a terrific place to start is Shaker Square which hosts three galleries, including Lake Erie Artists Gallery, and several restaurants, and is only a block away from the Larchmere antique and gallery area. You can easily spend an entire day visiting galleries, eating in restaurants, and even take in a movie at Shaker Square Cinemas.

Shaker Square is also on Cleveland's rapid transit line which goes right downtown to the transit hub close to several downtown hotels.
