Weber Genesis E-320 Review

Obviously I couldn't go into grilling season with no barbecue so I started searching online for different gas grill reviews. After searching for hours, it was obvious what gas grill I would be getting - the Weber 6521001 Genesis E-320. Review after review, previous Weber customers had me convinced that they made one of the best products on the market.

Armed with the information of which grill model I wanted, I took off to my local big box store to check out their supply and found that their prices were much more expensive than those I saw on the internet.

Not only was it cheaper to buy online but some offers included free shipping which was a plus for me as I have a smaller vehicle and I saw the size of the grill boxes in the store so knew they wouldn't fit in my car. If I wanted to buy locally I would have to pay for delivery anyhow so decided buying online was my most economical choice.

Not to shabby savings since I didn't have to pay for sales tax, eh?

Once I had ordered my Weber grill online, I anxiously waited for its arrival - right on time. I'm glad I ordered online as the grill arrived in a very large box weighing in over 190 lbs of pure grill muscle. I had the delivery guys put it in my garage so I could assemble it without fear of loosing any little screws. It took about 2.5 hours for assembly and then it was all systems a go.

With the help of my teenage son, we got the Weber E-320 installed on our back deck. With the locking casters we were able to effortlessly roll the grill around and then lock it into place. With the newer design of the Weber Genesis E-320, the dials are now located in front of the grill rather than on the side which frees up space for you to use the stainless steel side tables as work stations. We also choose the Genesis grill model with a side burner for this very hot summer days when you don't want any more heat in the house.

With our grill all set up, it was time to put it through the paces. It heated up nicely with a push of the button ignition in about 10 minutes and we christened our new grill with some steaks, and skewered shrimp kebobs. Our steaks turned out perfectly with nice professional looking grill marks. The flavorizer bars really added some great smoky flavor to the steaks. Another perk to the grill is the fuel gauge that lets you know when you need to refill your propane tank. No more running to the gas station half way through cooking supper.

The Weber Genesis E-320 is very well engineered and built. They didn't use any cheap materials or have riveted connections but used sturdy bolts to assemble. 

The base and cover are made from cast metal and have thick, heavy duty walls which help keep the heat in for optimum cooking temperature. from the frame to the cooking grates.

If you are looking for a new gas grill, then I highly recommend the Weber Genesis E-320. Because it is a well built, quality grill you know you will be using it for years to come, making it a great choice.
