Personal Development is all the rage at present as people strive to learn how to live as well as possible. With the economic recession hanging over our heads, only those who push themselves will survive and thrive so reading a few quotes every now and then inspires, uplifts and provides a feeling of triumph, if just for a second before being chucked back into the day.

I was looking over a few quotes and put them together with a few thoughts. I find these quotes rousing and stimulating. they are definitely a few of the best quotes about life and personal growth I have come across... so far.

This personal growth quote means such a lot to me because I can be one of those that spends a lot of time thinking, thinking then thinking some more about doing something. At this point, if I finally do decide to do it, I then spend time researching, researching and researching things and then I move on to reading and reading about it. I think you get what I mean.

My lovely hubby and lots of other people call it ‘analysis paralysis’. I definitely get stuck here for a long time and then generally talk myself out of it, only to come back a while later wishing I had at least given it a go. There is nothing quite like the shame of regret for things not done. I think I would rather look back and smile at all the silly things I did than forever wonder if I could have made something I dreamt of, work.

Having now decided to step out into the limelight, I am determined to live life to the fullest by putting this very quote into practice. I know doing some of the things I am doing now is proving pretty confidence building. This is definitely a quote to live by.

Another powerful quote. This is so relevant to anyone looking to succeed in business or any other aspect of life. Success of failure is very dependent on the ability to persist. Lots of people try different things, having overcome their fears but then at the first sign of trouble, they quit. You must choose every day to carry on pushing forward with the personal growth targets you have set for yourself.

Like a lot of people experience, there are days when you wake up feeling tired and afraid and full of the desire just to give it all up as a bad job. At times like that, I have to remind myself of things I am grateful for, I whisper a prayer and step out and refuse to condone the weak thoughts that threaten to overwhelm. Not always easy to do but definitely worth it.

Isnt this amazing?! I love this one! The truth is most of us have failed at something or the other. Do not be content with that! Dust yourself off and try again. Failure is only truly failure when you stop. This I suppose links back to the last quotation. We must persist, we must keep on growing and each time we try something new, we will improve.

What is your present challenge? It may simply mean going to college each day, or looking after your children without screaming for a whole 24 hours (I am working on this, by the way!).
