Arundel - Historic Town in England with Magnificent Castle
Yeah, it's quite Hitchcockian at times when they are all there!

And it must be the time of year, I haven't written enough either!

Labour Saving Devices
I suppose it's just habits we get into, plus, I never get up early enough to iron as I go. More correctly, by the time I've spent an hour on the computer (and I agree with you about them, they don't save time, but do help to earn a bit more) I ...

Labour Saving Devices
I like my broom, I have to say. And for the vinyl flooring (and the painted walls) in the bathroom, a damp mop is the very thing. My husband swears by the feather duster, as he uses it to knock ceiling-crawling insects out as well as to dust ...

Arundel - Historic Town in England with Magnificent Castle
Not so far as I recall, Mari. Of course, the visitor attraction side appears to have moved on a bit from when I was last there. I'm sure there were no falconry displays in the 80s. But then again, as my mother has a phobia of birds, we'd not ...

Charities - to give or not to give?
I have a few selected charities to which I will give. But I will never give to any charity that tries to pressurize or manipulate me into giving. If there is an appeal at church I give.

Charities - to give or not to give?
I am more for giving of time and donations of items needed to local organizations than gifts of money which can go to anything, including salaries. People who want to help the poor have to do some research and investigation before they throw ...

Why I Shaved My Head
You are such a beautiful young woman with or without hair. The power of prayer is an awesome thing to behold in our lives. I hope your dad is doing well. I am saying a prayer for him.

Michael Miller Fabulous Fabric Swatches for Quilting, Crafts etc
Maritravel - Yes, I was the same way at school, but have since grown to love knitting as a sort of therapy or meditation almost. I think you can buy a fairy panel for hanging already made up on Amazon - they are magical. Thanks so much for ...

Who Was Henry Fitzroy?
Absolutely, Alexandria, many 'what ifs?'! We would have almost certainly had a very different line of succession, and it makes you wonder what knock-on effects that would have had on the world we now live in. As you say, it's fascinating to muse ...

Michael Miller Fabulous Fabric Swatches for Quilting, Crafts etc
I am useless when it comes to crafts and especially sewing. Such a shame as I am of the generation that was taught sewing, knitting and cooking at school, but I hated all three as it took me away from my books. But if anything were to inspire ...

I missed that. Do I have to be there at night to see/feel the presence?

Who Was Henry Fitzroy?
So many what ifs in history. What if Henry and Mary did consummate their marriage and had a child? What could have happened to that child, since Henry VIII would acknowledge that child as his grandchild. Interesting piece. Thanks for sharing.
