What adorable little toys. My daughter loves Moshi Monsters!

What a delightful cake...well done. Looks to good to eat!

I don't enjoy spiders in my home, but I do enjoy looking at the spiderwebs they spin especially on a dewy morning. They just sparkle:)

Hi Jo,
Very thoughtful and useful article. You are correct that the attitudes are changing much more slowly in the U.S. I haven't seen any cards like this. I wrote a book review on Hubpages about two women who married and wanted a child, and one of them already had eggs in storage, as her marriage to a man was fraught with fertility issues and the pressure was too much. Hubpages people avoided it like the plague! It's on here now and doing better! I have a GF who served as the "best man" for two men who married, because she was his first friend when he moved to the U.S. She wore palazzo pants and a sort of feminine, yet tuxedo look. Classy!

These are right up my alley...I am obsessed with everything paranormal and I love these spine-tingling costumes.

Thanks for the great tips...I love finding great free ebooks to add to my digital library.

Hello SeanMac,
I never heard of this game before, it sounds like a lot of fun. I'm sometimes a little shy when I m eet new people, and this seems like a nice ice breaker!

They were all Irish Catholics, so no help there for them. The book that I read, authored by Cecil Woodham-Smith, was a real eye opener. It's not for the faint of heart. She spent 10 years researching and found quite a bit of correspondence between all the parties involved.

After reading her book, I came away feeling and knowing more could have been done to save them. I learned a new word from all this reading...marasmus. It's an almost forgotten word now in our part of the world. Not in others.

And now I'm starting to get an even better idea of how to use this effectively. Much appreciated.

This is very helpful. I'm starting to understand the uses of facebook a bit better now.

Glad you liked it :)

Cheryl, This is an excellent article. I am planning a similar one after visiting my grandchildren recently and seeing some safety issues I'm concerned about. Kids are very trusting by nature. Unfortunately, we have to instill fear in them.

You are so lucky to live close to them so you can get first hand knowledge! I think it would be so great to have enoubgh land to own a burro and horses too of course but a burro is my fav!

Hear, hear, I'm with you on this one. :)

It's a fascinating world to be in; at least it's kept me absorbed for the best part of half a decade! Enjoy your sojourn!
