How to Know if I Am Fat?

Thanks Dustytoes, great to hear from you. I love the portable bike extension for under the desk. The trick to staying thin at any age and especially after 30 or 40 is to get in exercise, movement and toning at every opportunity. I'm a huge fan of working out while you write. I have a fitness ball I hit several times everyday, a few minutes here and there, plus other strategic gadgets to incorporate into my day as a freelance writer. Isometrics are always good to. Keep it on your mind and you will be amazed as to what a difference a few mini work outs can do everyday. After awhile you find yourself doing it by habit. I never set still even when I'm setting still... :)

How to Know if I Am Fat?

Great motivational page Katie! I am trying very hard now to lose and tone. Having my 4th child after the age of 40 is what did me in. Also working at the computer all day is not helping, but I am getting better and actually losing weight this summer. I am only 5'5" and I believe it takes a lot more effort at my age to lose it. I was as skinny as a toothpick until I turned 30. (Maybe a good article for you to write..!) This one is excellent.

Highest Mountains

I know it's puny in comparison, but here in New Hampshire we have Mount Washington - it's our big mountain at over 6,000 feet ;)
I love to view your photos of the mountains on Pixabay, why didn't you add them here? Just curious.
I learned something here. Good page.

Facebook: The Anti-Social Network

I hated FB when I first got on it. I have made friends on FB and through e-mail that I have talked to on the land line. I don't have a cell phone or any other type of gadget. I am home bound and this does keep me in touch with my family who live all over the place. I see good in this not bad. You can set your FB page to have no one look at it or everyone look at it. That is a personal thing and no one is forcing anyone to get a FB page. Heck a few years ago they said the same about MSN Groups. Just about everyone had one. When that went down lots of friends were lost in that process. Some of them were found again on FB. I sure do wish and so do my friends that we could actually have that touchy feely kind of relationship where one could just meet someplace and have a chat or two, but some people cannot do that or afford the transportation cost.

Did You Ever Wonder Where To Find USA Made Knives?

The only people profiting from Made in China or other countries with cheap labor are the corporations. I bought a very well made hand made item for about the same price I would have to pay for made in China (as in Walmart...), and the lady told me that she still made a reasonable profit from the transaction. This writer, Paul Midler wrote a book called Poorly Made in China.... You should check it out. Eye opening experience!

Cloud Atlas Movie - A Philosophers Wet Dream! Everything Is Connected

Thanks winterfate, I can't wait till it comes out, I feel like it's going to have the same deep impactful philosophy as the matrix... the concepts are deep, intertwined, and complex.

Cloud Atlas Movie - A Philosophers Wet Dream! Everything Is Connected

Oh, wow! This sounds like a movie to watch. I was fascinated by the Matrix trilogy (mainly the first one; the other two lost a little something that's a bit hard to explain). I watched the first Matrix over a dozen times, and the level of complexity that was interwoven into its plot is nearly beyond belief. I was still finding out new things in the ninth or tenth viewing of the movie.

Thanks for the great article! Liked and tweeted!
