The e-mail that Google sent me basically said, "You and your whole family are banned for life. Don't appeal. Don't contact us again." Yet never any reason for it. The Google Webmaster forum threw up the fact that I'd been writing about the local riots, as this was a blog started in August 2011. The riots were on my doorstep.

Edit: I've taken the like-for-like out, because ChefKeem has pointed out there are more factors than I'm taking into account. Traffic numbers for example.

Jen, these little furry wonders can worm their way into your heart with a simple purr. I have had cats all my life and I never want to lose that--I am so glad you rescued Draco. I know he is happy there. Give him all the love you can (and the dogs can get some too LOL) Thanks for writing and commenting.

Some of the things we have found to work well is exposure to sunlight. It seems to help them build a type of chemical in their system that calms them down. No meds needed. Maybe you can get your friend out in the sun more.... It is extremely hard to work with someone like that because you never know who or what you will be dealing with.

I always keep a journal, but don't necessarily write in it all the time. I tend to write when I have problems or am trying to work out an issue in my life. It's interesting to go back and read how things were in comparison to how they worked out. I like journals that are easy to write in - open flat.

Me too, it is really sad to see a person behaving in such an offensive manner and all the while they firmly believe (maybe they don't) they are acting in an appropriate manner. The one thing that stands out to me in his regard is his unwavering rude comments. You may ask if anyone would like a bagel, he will say yes, he will then complain about the bagel. Everyone knows you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. One day he will be most grateful and the next rude and critical. Hard working with someone like that.

Fantastic article, Katie! Well, I am single, never been married. In my opinion, marriage is a good thing. However, I also think that one should only get married if and when they find the kind of person they want. So, here is wishing that I soon find the person with the qualities I want because I am surely not going to just settle for anyone just for the sake of getting married.
