Katie, thanks for coming to get acquainted. I didn't realize I had comments, since I don't seem to be getting email notifications. I'm going over to meet you.

Diana, sorry to be so tardy in responding to your comments. I haven't been on the site for a while and don't seem to get email notifications when people leave comments. I do appreciate your taking the time to read and comment. Nice that you are able to sell your books. Things have really slowed for me in that respect this year, which is why I have more time to be here.

It's great to hear about your success and how you were willing to listen to others to find success. Very inspirational! Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations on your success. This is such an encouraging article about sticking with something until you make it. Thanks for the share!

I was happily surprised to see this lovely piece on Syd Barrett. I think he was a genius. I spent many hours in my teens listening to See Emily Play and Arnold Layne. I think there are many layers to his music. I read in one bio that roommates were spiking his coffee with LSD, so he was getting more than he thought. I read an article on another site, where someone spoke about "how generous" the others in the band were to make sure Syd (then Roger) got his royalites. I had to sit on my hands for a bit before I replied that Syd founded Pink Floyd, and his sister and charities got the money, which was quite substantial. I love Opal, I think Roger Waters hid it because it was so much better than the songs the band wrote trying to sound like Syd. I'm glad his memory lives on.!

Jerrico! I enjoyed many of your articles over at HP and it's so nice to see you here, and learn so much more about you. Your writing story is so inspirational and encouraging to those of us still not sure if we can "make it."

I loved learning more about you. Thanks for sharing!

Making Zazzle products is quite relaxing thing to do. It helps you grow your creative part of the brain too. :)
Thank you for your kind comment!

sheilamarie, if you ever find out Bigfoot is your neighbor, convince him to let you take a photo and send it to me :-) (There's a woman in Michigan who feeds blueberry bagels to her Sasquatch neighbors....that's what she says!)

Oh yeah, Johnny Depp is fantastic! I love his quirky characters in many of his movies, especially as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean!

I don't know what the PR is of any of my pages right now -- but I'll be going to check them with one of the tools you mentioned above! You cleared up some questions I had about PR and how it's determined. Thank you!

I didn't know there were so many variations of Cinderella. Since I enjoy fairy tales, I'd like to read a few of the versions you mentioned.

I love to make Zazzle products. These placemats are great, and it's good to know who you are supporting when you buy them.

If there is a Bigfoot, I'll bet he's my neighbor. I live where there is much wilderness uninhabited by humans. So if I were a Bigfoot, that's where I'd hang out.
Actually I have big feet, for my size, but I'm quite short, so I don't think I qualify.

Really? :o I am totally failing as an historian here, aren't I? I'll consider myself shamed, edit the article; then buy his actual book instead of relying upon secondary sources!

Thanks for keeping me real here, cariad. <3

oppssss, one more "In reality, this happened during several visits spanning months. In the movie, it occurs wholesale during a single fortnight." The Belsen's execution were in fact done in one "go" (13 hanged)
Pierrepoint did several trips spanning months to execute several Nazi (202 in total between 1945 and 1949)
