And as for 'I've been able to skip over some topics that simply don't have the volume necessary to be successful' Ouch! I'd have missed pretty much all my best revenue generating topics if I'd taken that approach. There's too much focus on article title, it's important, but it's not the only thing that's important!

Katie - I love The Far Side. I crack up everytime I see one of the cartoons. The desk calendars were the best because you could have a new one each day to laugh at.

Wow Lissie - 6 years and they are still good? Meaning they have not dried up. I always have the problem of them getting really hard. Pencil style liners will last a lot longer and are better with germs and bacteria because you can sharpen them.. Thanks so much for reading and commenting.

@ Lissie I like your arrangement and that is how it should be. It is a pity that many husband's consider household chores and taking care of children as the responsibility of the wife.

This is a great topic to write about. I think there's a lot of misinformation floating around out there, and I think newcomers especially can benefit from real-world stories. What it comes down to is that you can either learn a research technique that works for you, develop intuition, or commit to using a "shotgun" approach in which your quantity means you'll have plenty of successes among your misses. Still, I think you should clarity exactly what you mean by "keyword research," because there are a lot of valuable uses - finding the right way to word a title, finding those long-tail searches that no one else has found, and even just learning the way that Google thinks about how search works.

I don't know many people who enjoy being a SAHM. Having a career and kids is very hard though - been there! We've always done equal parenting which does make things much better - we both reduced our working hours. Now I'm finding that working from home and just using a bit of childcare is the best of all. We still do equal parenting so I do get time to work as well as being with the kids.

I only iron the sewing I do. We have wind, but not as much. I use my dryer more often and my husband likes his clothes hung in the closet. Mine go from laundry to across my cedar chest most times. My mom would be yelling at me to put them away. LOL LOL LOL Thanks Lissie for reading and commenting.
