Thanks both of you, this type of info is true for a period of time only as the Google's algorithms are changing frequently, but so far, YES, this is still valid info.
Note:
in old days we had a pattern of major changes on Google at 2 years... now they changes "something" at 6 month, not all changes affect us, but some do, so we constantly must keep an eye on it!

An interesting and insightful read. I used to bite my nails when I was teenager. It was a reaction to stress and boredom, I guess, although I wouldn't say that for me it was compulsive. I don't do it anymore although I am still fidgety.

Off to a flying start in January, I see! :-D

@bizilady I care about what's useful and relevant to human readers. That's what google is really trying to achieve anyway.

Unfortunately, this one is not yet available in the US but Birchbox is... Same concept but only available in the US.:-)

Thanks

This is really interesting. I have never heard of this before. Might have to try it out.

You have nearly 200 articles so that's a plus.looks like you don't care about Google wanting advertisements 'below the fold".LOL
i'll be writing more.

Even my partner is a fan! We never watch live TV though - we have a hard-drive recorder - and we watch at our convenience, not when the schedulers want us to view!

Thank you for the head's up. I didn't know that the Czech Republic was so close to signing ACTA. I was aware that the treaty had been passed by the EU, so it was only a matter of time before it spread through Europe.

I agree that awareness certainly needs to be raised. Thank you for commenting.

Plus one! Activism is most definitely sexy. It shows that they have passion and they care. It also, dare I say, demonstrates that they are thinking about the world around them.

I smiled over that pepper spray cop one and the Anonymous Valentine's Day card. <3

Oh! That's so sad about what your friend said. It's obviously the loss of the people who didn't invite you both. Friendship has to be more than religion and social convention. There seems to have been a fair sprinkling of hypocrisy in their regard.

On the off-chance that I should ever marry, I will invite you both.

@Jimmie: Thank you for the welcome! :) Writing online is fun--it sounds like it keeps you very busy! I'm like you...I love writing online, too!

Welcome to Wizzley. I do write online at 2 blogs and various platforms. Love it.

Thanks Paula! I was certainly trying to draw something other than I always draw for a change....diversification and all that jazz!

I recently bought my 14 year old daughter some soft pastels, and some oil pastels, and she has taken off with them. She loves drawing cartoon characters, the last one was Perry the Platypus, freehand from a picture. I was pretty impressed with how well she did.

Very nice job on this one. Love the step by step.
