Every year starting in September, the cub scouts and boy scouts of America begin their annual fundraiser selling popcorn. There are several types of popcorn that are sold by the cub scouts: cheese popcorn, microwave popcorn, caramel popcorn, kettle corn, chocolate covered popcorn, caramel popcorn with almods, and many others. In addition to popcorn, you can make a donation that will go to buy popcorn for the U.S. military.
Cub Scouts sell popcorn as a Fundraiser
Each pack must raise money every year to support their activities which includes buying patches and awards for the scouts, any activities the pack pays for, and all supplies for the pack during the year. Activities include the pinewood derby, family camp outs, pool parties, and hiking programs.
The Boy Scouts of America in 2010 turned 100 years old. The scouting program helps boys from 1st grade to high school learn about how to become great citizens as they grow up. The ultimate for every scout is to become an eagle scout. Over the last 100 years there have been over 2 million scouts earn the rank of Eagle scout.
If your favorite brand of popcorn is Garrett's popcorn from New York, online from Dale and Thomas popcorn, Popcorn Haven in Georgia, Popcorn Works in Pennsylvania, or Pop-kies in Michigan, it's time to try some Trail's End popcorn from the Cub Scouts

Cub Scout Microwave Popcorn
The best microwave popcorn is actually unbelievable butter popcorn sold by the Boy Scouts through Trails-End. You can also purchase Microwave Lite popcorn from Trails End.
Boy Scout Kettle Corn
My favorite popcorn is Kettle corn. I love the sweet and salty taste of this type of popcorn. In 2011, kettle corn is back on the order form and has been online for most of the summer. Buy Trails End Kettle corn here.
Military Donations for Popcorn
As part of the cub scout fundraiser, you don't have to buy popcorn, but can make a donation that goes to purchase popcorn for the military. The donation is partially divided towards the local cub scout pack or boy scout troop and the purchase for the military.
