If you want a really cute costume for Halloween this year (or any other occasion), why not check out some of the fantastic creatures of legend and myth? They're not all scary monsters!
There are plenty of cute legendary creatures to choose from - there are the traditional fairies, mermaids, and elves of course. And even unicorns!
For the more adventurous, there are gnomes, trolls, and even dragons. Yes, even trolls and dragons can be cute. Just check them out here!
Yes, fairies are really cute. They have those gorgeous butterfly wings, they fly, they are pretty, they wear flowers in their hair, and they're petite. What's not to love!
What little girl (or bigger one) hasn't wanted a fairy costume at least once in their life? So here's a selection of the cutest ones.

I love unicorns, they are really one of my favorite mythical creatures.
Unicorns are special creatures - gorgeous white horses with that single spiral horn. They are reputed to be good and virtuous, healing the innocent with their horn (although evil-doers want to steer clear of it!), and representing purity.
And what could be cuter than a unicorn foal!

I know I'm probably prejudiced because I'm a dragon lover, but I've always thought dragons are more cute than ugly (ugly is reserved for trolls, usually!).
And for sure, little dragons are very cute. Who can argue that this little "Frost Dragonling" isn't the cutest?

These are less scary than most, so young children may well accept them.
