Easter Party Supplies and Ideas

First of all, it would be great to consider why you are doing the party in the first place.  If Christian, it is a great time to introduce children to the message of Christ's Death and resurrection or just to celebrate the resurrection of Christ with all your guests.

Christian or not, Easter is still a great time to celebrate new life and growth.  With the bank holidays that we enjoy in the UK, why not get the friends and family around and just enjoy the time together.

Easter this year is on 8th April, 2012 so begin to plan for this party well in advance.  There are great options available to make it a party to remember.  Lets hope the weather is great so you can enjoy the time outside but well, you can still have an indoor party if the weather turns out to be rubbish.

Now to get the party room in the mood.  Flowers would be wonderful as well as a centerpiece for the main table or each table.  You could have bunny rabbits or stuffed lambs or little chicks.  Balloons dotted around the room will also add a great touch.

This is one excellent game that everyone can get involved in.

It can be as simple as hiding the eggs all around the house and garden and letting everyone loose to find them. Fill the eggs with whatever you like and share the spoils at the end so everyone gets something.

You could get more complicated and draw up plans and maps so everyone can search for treasure using the map.  Children love that, though the map may need to be pretty simple if really young ones are involved.

Another thing to consider if chocolate and children are involved, it might be best to get everyone to look for fluffy chickens and then swap those chickens for the treats - Just to avoid toddlers sneaking behind a tree to eat the treats.
