I wizzed up a wizz on the amazon carousel. Got an interesting question one I don't think to be an issue but got me thinking and thought we should get more thought on this from others who may have some experience.
The readers question went something like this, Do amazon carousels convert? I can't imagine many readers actually scrolling through them. I've avoided them so far.
I appreciate the feedback, thanks

I haven't used them on Wizzley but elsewhere I've found that they don't convert at all well.

This is hard to say here on Wizzley because we can't provide any stats for the carousel. I'd venture to say that a nice, big picture with a good description should convert best. The carousel is probably best used in addition to other ads. It may encourage a reader to play a bit longer (and stay a bit longer).

They aren't as good as product links and amazon text links, but since I promote art products elsewhere I've had some positive results with using the carousel widget on some of my websites.....

I use the carousel. I like playing with it. Hopefully, others do too.

Thanks, I'll continue to play around with them and see what happens!
Diversity, I'll be dabbling in that here for comparison sake.

Katie, I have it running on a couple of my wizzes, to early to tell how well they do or not convert.

Katie,
This is one that may have to go through lots of numbers to get good feedback on how they convert, or not.
With lots of numbers I am suggesting 20 of each articles, 20 with a carousel, 20 without. Those articles may have to be in lots of web presences you write or submit articles to test, not just as wizzles to get a good sample.

I love the look of the carousel but I don't use them because they don't display on any of my mobile devices whereas the normal Amazon modules do. With shopping from phones and tablets becoming more popular, I'd rather not restrict any potential income from mobile devices.
