I left a comment. Nice information.  The only thing I would add is this, I prefer adding one or two gallery images from Amazon. It leaves a bit of mystique which I feel drives more sales as curiosity gets the customer. If they feel they are going to Amazon via their own motivation choosing the products they want they are more likely to purchase. 

Accentuating a few nice products with great images takes the reader to Amazon who is great for leading the visitor to other products specific to their preferences. You always get credit for any sales and your pages don't come off as hard sales pages yet information gently leading to sales.

Just my opinion, hopefully we will hear from others sharing their Amazon success strategies.

Thank you so much for the advice.

I have made the changes to my 'sales' pages as you have suggested and immediately the look and feel of the whole page it is quite different. 

Its quite amazing and has made the page feel so much less pushy.
