Wizzley Video Tutorial (in-depth) For The Text Module - Feedback appreciated :)

I got to thinking about all the things each of these modules can do and decided to create a tutorial set for all things modules- i.e. a text module tutorial, an images module tutorial, down to the monetization modules...

I'll later create tutorials for all the other functions of Wizzley (consolidating the ones that don't need much explanation together respectively), and top it all off afterward with some tutorials for tips and tricks- cool things you can do by synergizing features (I have a long list I've accumulated )...

Soooo.....

Here is the first installment (designed to follow behind the first tutorial of setting up your wizzles in the first place) of the modules "set" coming... they will all be self sufficient but also useful with the others...

Wizzley Text Module Tutorial (Beta)

Great!  The VIDEO tutorials are a great idea.  Just not sure if people realize this thread is regarding video tutorials and not wizz tutorials.

Don't forget to use the word video Wink

huh? The title is "Wizzley Tutorial (in-depth) For The Text Module- it's specifically a wizzley tutorial...The link is to a wizzley tutorial on the text module, I don't understand what your saying... maybe I'm not reading your response correctly?

The thread will likely be buried before many see it (especially newbies) but I'll create a place with them all when they're done, for now I'm trying to get feedback i.e. if anything needs changing, inaccurate, etc...

I know what Katie meant. Fixed.

Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Very good Jerrico.  I personally did not know what all those buttons did at the top of the text module.

I noticed that you moved the picture, but didn't say how - I assume it just moves when you click on it?  I will be trying that out because - duh - I didn't know that!  And I've been wishing I could move my pics and re-size them.

Yay!  Thanks - your tutorials are very good and the info moves right along so I don't fall asleep.

Thanks dustytoes :) *Blushing*

I'm getting 50/50 on the speed, some think it's too fast, others think it's just right to maintain focus, I used to chop out spaces which made it go faster but sync with the music, now I just silence the spaces (not cut but turn volume down (*snip* snip* lower section)...

When I made that last video (text module) it was before the changeover, I had to clip out parts to coincide with the new wizzley i.e. no more indention feature that allowed us to center an image like I did there- there is only left or right positioning now... you can resize them and move them around the article (drag/drop) though. (you'll notice the last 18 seconds of the text module movie was shot fresh in the wizzley 2.0 though :) the editor is just slightly different  so it wasn't very noticeable :) I'd forgotten to talk about the link and bullet point buttons hehe... In the monetize ones I'm going to talk in them about how to use them effectively (at least how I use them and see others)...

The reason they removed the indent feature (which is what I used to center the wizard dog in the video, it's not a click operation, I just had to remove all the indent stuff and what was left was me clicking the image and it centering- sorry for the confusion). The problem, however is the indent messed up pages on mobile devices (where a lot of traffic comes in from).

I didn't have the patience chef to rerecord and edit (8-18 hours per video) so I doctored it up (since many of the features are the same I just had to update what wasn't there in this one). I plan to slow it down just a tad going forward. I think I'll record the rest fresh and ditch my 8 hours of recorded (but not edited) material for everything, I want the new wizzley in there going forward....

It's time consuming (but a lot of fun to see the end result... I'm often so complacent about it by the time I'm done I have to wait a week just to watch it and see it like you do haha...

More to come Dustytoes...

Wow, this is so impressive! Great video tutorial!

Nice, how you fixed the important differences, that came with the recent update. Sorry about that - kind of bad timing Tongue Out Most viewers won't even notice the difference anyway, I guess.

Again: simply stunning!! Thanks!

I just watched the Create Your First Wizzley and did you know that it shows the old way we moved modules?  I thought I read someplace that the option for adding a gray background was going away too.  (dreamt it?)

Will you be updating that or is it too difficult - I can't even imagine.

But, I want to say that I like the way you say things like "most people choose to do this" and "I always do this" because that is helpful - to me anyway.

I have a fellow Zazzler who really should come here and write, so I'll probably send him to this video to check it out.

Great work Jerrico.

@dustytoes, thanks!  and the grey background is only going away for the monetize modules, the ebay, amazon etc...

The first video needs some edits apparently :) I may just redo the whole thing for the 2.0... just a matter of finding time... (and slowing down the dialogue :)
