Activity in the Forum

Even though Wizzley appears to be growing, judging by the number of new and returning writers, the forum is very quiet. I wish there was more activity, because a lot of people stop here before they decide to sign up. If there are no posts, they may mistakenly think the site doesn't have much going on. What does everyone else think?

I also read a couple other forums for another writing platform, and those forums are also much quieter than they have been in the past.  Maybe it's partly because it's summer here in the northern hemisphere, and people are spending more time outside. 

Yep, there goes another tumbleweed  blowin' across the highway....

The nice weather must certainly account for some of the lack of activity. I'm trying to get outside more myself. However, I was just wondering if others have noticed. People are still publishing articles though.

I've noticed too, but summer is usually more quiet online I think.

I know I have been unable to get as much work done as I usually do, due to visitors in my house!  Also the kids are home from school and usually keep parents running.

I've been trying to find the time to write more here. Our forums have always been sort of quiet. We should be able to find something to talk up a storm about though.

Hi Digby, That's why I think too.  I'm trying to carve out some more time to write here as well.

I haven't been on the forums much, but I haven't managed to get on Wizzley as much as I'd like with a lot of other stuff going on. I don't like seeing the forums so quiet though. The summer and good weather could have something to do with it.

I rather enjoy reading others words of wit.
