I am attending an awards ceremony tonight at my daughter's school where hopefully, she will win some of the numerous college scholarships that she has applied for. I hate going to these types of programs, but it will be worth it if she gets even one of them. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, she didn't win any scholarships. We sat through a 2 1/2 hour program to find that out. Several kids won more than one scholarship, and one kid got about 6 of them. Oh well.
