Someone kindly brought to my attention that she had to reclaim her domains in her Chitika account. Low and behold, I had to do the same. I don't know why, but perhaps it might have had something to do with the Heartbleed bug. If you're using Chitika for your ad program, you might want to check this out. You go to your dashboard and look under ads, and then settings.

Thanks. I don't use Chitika here but I use it for one of my websites. I'll have to go check on it.

It would help if I could actually log into the site in the first place!

I know my username, but can't remember which account I signed up with and I haven't a clue about my password!

Mine too!  Thanks for the head's up.  Though I was still getting revenue from it.

It might be because Chitika updated their dashboard etc.

Hi Jo,

The updating might very well be the reason. I was getting revenue until a few days ago. I'm so thankful someone else brought this to my attention.

Thanks for informing. I need to check it. Haven't logged for a long time.

Thanks for sharing this info. I just checked and I needed to reclaim Wizzley domain. It looks like I missed out on quite a bit of revenue for a traffic spike last week.

OK, so I eventually worked out how to reclaim wizzley and it's now vanished from both claimed and unclaimed lists. Oh well. I'll log off and let the system do its stuff then come back tomorrow or later this week to finish up the paperwork with this.

Starting the long drive back to England in a couple of hours. Normality will strike agaim tomorrow - work at 8am.

Hi Emma, sorry to hear about that. These little setbacks are frustrating.

ologsinquito, Yes, setbacks are frustrating, both to novices such as myself and to seasoned online writers such as yourself.Surprised

Oh, my goodness gracious, WordChazer! An online disappearing act.Cry

I'm sorry to say this, but I actually feel less dense than I usually feel around computers and also not so much "less than" as a result of your experience. It's my sense that you are completely computer savvy, whereas, despite my appreciation of computers, I especially am perplexed by online screens which are reminiscent of all those bureaucratic forms in everyday life outside of cyberspace. It felt like a fog, despite ologsinquito's clear and helpful guidance, when I went to my Chitika dashboard, not to mention all the missteps in just trying to find the dashboard!

So your experience confirms for me how I've tended to view these housekeeping, bureaucratic screens: they're designed in ways that are puzzlements for the human brain and they defy understanding. It's not because I'm "less than" that they're troublesome for me. Embarassed

I do hope that you're able to reclaim wizzley soon.

Hi EmmaRose, I'm not seasoned quite yet, but I'm learning from some very good people who are generous with their advice. :)
