Copyright question

I have written a couple of wizzles on poetry, but have held back on including any actual poems because of copyright issues.

Is including a poem -- along with an amazon link to the book the poem appears in -- considered fair play? How about part of the poem as a quote?

I've looked up information about copyright before, but I find it confusing. I seems lame to write about poetry without including actual poems, don't you think?

The copyright of poems isn't any different than the copyright of other materials. Not to mention duplicate content issues.

I'd say it's probably fair use if you quote a few lines within the context of your own, original article and attribute accordingly. But including large passages of someone else's work, or even your own if it has been previously published elsewhere, is not ok.
