I just read that story and the comments (the comments come ordered by most liked so I don't know which "second one" you were seeing as the ranks change with time - I reordered from oldest to newest). My first thought was: hey, only half a mile and he was so badly injured? In the movies they get up and walk away! Now I know why there are subtitles in some tv shows - "Do not try this at home." Oh, he did get up and walk away - and with a broken pelvis no less! The comments are an amazing read. It is funny. And it is also so sad. |

Only in Florida. New Smyrna Beach is one of my favorite places, but that whole state has bunches of nutty, dangerous people. It's why I moved north. |

Sam, it's not funny that he got hurt. The comments are what is funny. I can picture this as a scene in a move. These dumb people got so drunk on vodka and did these stupid things. I'll post some of the really funny comments. In reality, this isn't funny at all, but with all the other things going on in the world right now, it's nice to step back and have a good laugh. My favorites: That's why I refuse to marry any vodka-drinking female truck drivers......let alone divorce one and then bring my girlfriend to her house. 54, 61, 63 just goes to show there really is no cure for stupid. A sixty-one year old female truck driver with a stun gun. God, that gives me the creeps.... Dang, had she been 20 years younger, I'd be trying to hook up with her. Vodka drinking female truck drivers just turn me on. This will be a country song within 48 hours Dang! and I thought my Xs were psychotic! Lovely lady!!! Sure to end up with starring role on a reality TV show.
