George Stinney Deutsch

I love the search terms that we get with our articles.  I've been able to use one to reach out across to our sister site, PageWizz.

I'm getting a lot of traffic for an article that I wrote about George Stinney Jr.  The search terms finding it seem endless.  But one leapt out at me:  George Stinney Deutsch.  Unfortunately, my German is very limited, so it's not an article that I could write.

I contacted Christian, who was the person who lured me onto Wizzley in the first place.  I mentioned the case and the fact that people were searching for information in German.  I'd already done a reccy to learn that there wasn't a website there providing this.

Today, Christian's messaged me.  It exists now!  George Stinney Jr .: Todesstrafe an Kind in den USA vollstreckt.

I love that we can reach out, not just amongst the Wizzley community, but to our other sites too.

Happy days!

Well thanks a lot for the hint! My trouble's that it's extremly hard for me to write in Englisch due to the use of grammar and proper spelling of words and I did not find a suitable grammar and spelling up today. Well I could write in Englisch but I would be like.... well flirting.....flirting with the WizzAngels and our boss .... to let them pass my articles with all the typos and stuff. And honestly I doubt my looks are good and sex appeal are enough to pass my flaws in the use of words and spelling and grammar. So I better stick to Austrian....'till I can find a proper Englisch or improve my Englisch :).

So if anyone got some hints like Jo...just leave a message :) I am grateful for every tip you provide.

Yours Christian

Lol Christian! I started to write on Pagewizz, as a native German speaker no less, and got rebuked because my punctuation was not perfect! Since then I stuck to Wizzley and, lo and behold, I am having several editor choice awards here and a badge that tells people that I am a trustworthy author - go figure! SY

Yepp punctuation's a bitch in German and if I write in my Austrian mothertongue it's funny too for a German to read it :) because there're more than some differences.

*raises a brow* Hmmm translating some articles into Englisch might be funny - for a couple of minutes - before they get deativated due to spelling mistakes and bad grammar. It is worth a try though.

Fat chance here on Wizzley! They care more about 'useful for readers' than about 'perfect for the Duden Gods' ;-) SY

Thanks for backing up and bumping up my courage! :) I already started to translate five articles. ANd I am ready to accept bets how long they'll stay active before they're put down :P
