Thanks, Wizzley techie gurus. I just noticed that the indicator that a word is misspelled (red underline) is now working when I edit Wizzes (in Chrome). This is incredible! I am so thankful for this little trick. It saves me so much time copying words over into a dictionary to double check the spelling. And of course, it saves me plenty of type-os.
Whoever added this functionality, thanks.

Simon did this a couple weeks ago. You must have missed the announcement, Jimmie.
Oh, wait...we must have forgotten to make an official announcement! We just talked about it in a thread.
Sorrry. See? It works even in forum posts. Sorrry is underlined! Spiffy.

Really? Well, I guess I haven't misspelled any words at Wizzley in the past two weeks until today when I noticed it. (Seems hard to believe, though.) At any rate, I am pleased to have it.

I haven't noticed? Does that mean my spelling is normally ok? Just to check, I'll be writing some nonsense into a new Wizzle to test it out

Does it just work in Chrome then? Because I tried it in Firefox and it isn't working for me.

It should work in ALL browsers. Have you tried to empty your cache and then restart FF?

Yes I'm tempted to give Firefox the boot - it's getting slower and slower for me.
Thanks Chef for the suggestions. I'll try that.

Ha ha - perhaps it would help if I actually clicked on 'Toggle Spellchecker' in edit mode!
Talk about feeling stupid!

This is wonderful. I've been really enjoying having spellcheck in Chrome, I just can't go back to Firefox.
My brain can spell, but sometimes my fingers aren't listening!

Check out http://afterthedeadline.com/
It comes as Firefox add-on or as Chrome extension (dunno about IE), and you can customize the settings to your desired language. Matter of fact, you can set it so it automatically detects your writing language.
