A few minutes ago, when I went to Explore-Authors, I see that I am listed in the top Four of the Best Authors on Wizzley! so exciting!!

After posting new article, I moved to position #5. I guess that activity has a lot to do with your position on the list of Wizzley Best authors. However, it is interesting to not that the first three positions are prominently displayed on Wizzley home page. ---

In the past, I have noticed that the 3 "interesting authors" listed on the front page was not the same as the first three positions under the "best authors" page. in the past, i saw myself listed on the front page under interesting authors even when i wasn't in the top three of best authors. i've also seen others on the front page that did not yet have a 100 author score. the "best authors" page always starts with those that have an author score of 100, but the front page "interesting authors" includes authors that have lower author scores as well. I have seen that publishing pages seems to help with appearing in both places, but the places are not necessarily the same. however, now i see that they currently do correspond. i wonder if it just happened that way today. otherwise, it's possible that wizzley changed it so now it is the same. I guess we'll see what shows up in the future... |

The Interesting Authors on the Front Page has featured the same 3 authors for days now, because they are the only three to have been given some kind of award by the Wizzley owners. So I guess they are the top tier - and having a score of 100 or 99 no longer qualifies us to be on the front page. (I don't mean this as anything against those 3.) |

We try to show off ALL our great authors as much as possible, Digby. You're one of them, of course. However, this has got to be an automatic process that will be adjusted as we grow. Our friends who currently show as top interesting authors have just recently been awarded a badge for 3 Editor's Choice awards. That's why they are glued into this widget. But I just wrote to Simon about an adjustment to our code, so that we can rotate other authors into this feature as well. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.
