I Just Did Heart Surgery...

So in a writing mill you can end up writing a post about anything... and I mean anything. Luckily things like heart surgery are not something they normally get in the queue unless your a medical content provider mill :) but when it comes to writing descriptive blurbs (80-100 words) just using a keyword in the post, this isn't rocket science- or - heart surgery- you just have to say it...

i.e. When you need to get heart surgery you should make sure you research the hospitals in your area to make sure you are near one that can handle an emergency heart surgery.

I thought it was funny to say "I just did heart surgery" because afterall... other than an actor and a real surgeon- who gets to say that? -ever? as a headline! :) (too much caffeine I know- earning that xmas cash now... with a vengence)

Actually I'm working to find a few of those furby's for my daughters and we're pushing all our funds into paying off all our bills before the new year so I'm creating Christmas and dinner from writing work here and there...  I seem to always be here (online) but I'm actually always in both places :) the family always comes first, but they are incredibly supportive... I do a lot of work but I definately take holidays easy :) We're having christmas dinner on the 14th, 22nd, 24th, and 25th (different places, friends/family)... now that's fun!

Wow, Jerrico!  You really pulled me in with that title.

Glad to hear that you can combine work with family/friends. That is something I had to learn after my cardiopulmonary failure in 1998 that miraculously did not claim me into the hereafter before I was ready to go (I'm aiming for 100 - 61 down and 391/2 to go).

I wonder how many others of us here have had life-changing medical "situations".

This thread just keeps getting better, what an awesome bunch of people... I just published articles about the dangers of sitting still all day i.e. working from home and not moving around, and a series called writers mental stamina that covers the main pitfalls you will come across and have to persevere through... at least what I went through... It's an incredible journey (working online overall) and when you do get to the point where you FEEL successful, you will look back at the hard beginning and confusion as contrast to your new enlightenment of the realm, and it's resource wielding... man I'm tired today... too many all nighters in a row- not good.

Trust me.  Always take good care of your heart, kidneys and liver.

Also, writers always need to be pampered for the work they do.  It can be a lonely life.

At the same time, during the holidays, the presence of family and friends can drive one crazy.  When I've had enough, I will retreat to my beloved laptop.  I don't care what what these self-help gurus say.  I'm not going to sacrifice my sanity to be around difficult people--even if it's only ONCE a year.

Who made that rule?

Are you kidding me?

At the risk of highjacking this thread, perhaps a new thread for this one would be appropriate - but beware giving too much medical info out on the net, it could come back and bite you. Me, I was this '' close to death when I went into a diabetic coma 3 years ago almost (just after Xmas and New Year).

The best thing about writing online is when you find a supportive group of people who understand the issues that affect you (writing, loneliness, health, family etc) - and I have found a second family here on Wizzley. I love you guys and the support you offer, free of charge, to anyone who needs a little understanding, when they most need it.

You are all great people - never ever forget that!

To the tune of the Ovaltinies (if you got that advert in the US? [from the 1950's ish]):

"We are the Wizzley writers,
writing all the time,
we are the Wizzley people.
Sorry that does not rhyme!"

I agree with you, Chaz.

Sorry - not Ovaltine ads even in the colonies (Canada). But how 'bout Chiquita Banana, for those who remember:

I'm a wizzley writer

And I'm here to say

Writing and friending at Wizzley

Is here to stay!
