Remember this first sentence writers contest for cash prize???
I just go this email follow up on my entry.
Hello There Katie,
Forgive me for emailing you out of the blue. I'm writing to tell you how much I liked your sentence submission:
"The pages began to feel warm beneath her trembling fingers tips as the heightened intensity shot through her every being with the images of what she must do flooding her mind."

Brenda, Thanks it came to me in another writers community. There are a few of us here who were involved. I didn't give it much thought and simply tossed the first sentence together submitting it.
A writer was looking for writers giving a criteria for the opening sentence of a book about a librarian who burned the books she read as she could not share them with others.
We were to write the opening sentence leading to that story.
