You should watch the entire "Coach Carter" movie, it's truly inspirational... that poem is incredibly deep, what made that scene so powerful was the evolution of this teen through hell to taking his life back- when he stood up and said that I had major goosebumps I still get them watching that- but it's more intense when you realize just how amazing it was that HE stood up and said THAT. Great poem, very wise... |
