Well, I uploaded a few photos to see how it would go. Three were rejected, 3 accepted and 3 still pending. One of them even got an "EDITOR'S CHOICE" designation.  How exciting for me!  I'm thrilled.  I don't mind the rejections - the fact that photos are rejected gives a better sense of a quality site. If everything was accepted that would be awful.

I have no illusions of winning any photography prizes. Some of the photos put up on the site are spectacular. I particularly love Hans' work. So, given that, it is a privilege to have some of my photos considered worthy of sharing with others through pixabay.

I think there are several other terrific photographers here on wizzley and I look forward to seeing some of their works on pixabay as well.

Congratulations Sheri on getting your photo accepted. I'm going to submit some, but I'm waiting for a nice sunny day to get out with my camera. It was sunny yesterday, but I'm not too sure about today. Hopefully the sun will come out.

Thanks guys. I am hoping this thread gets some others here sending in photos. That competition is a great way to spur the building up of a reservoir of wonderful original photos in the public domain not (yet) found anywhere else.
