Spam Comments

Has anyone else noticed a sudden surge of spam comments with links to retail stores from non-Wizzley members appearing on their articles recently? I seem to be getting quite a few. Not a big issue for me because I approve every comment before it's visible but wow they're working overtime lately o.O

I avoid this situation by allowing only wizzley authors to comment on my articles. My wizzley rank suffers but I avoid wasting unnecessary time deleting spam.

I think I will do the same. I'd forgotten it was an option. Thanks :)

Okay here's a silly question. How do I change my settings to do this? Ta

There's a check box on the comment module within each article. It seems you can only adjust this on a per-article basis, not account wide.
